The MorE 4x4 Aluminum Transmission Skid Plate for the Toyota FJ Cruiser (suitable for all model years from 2006 onwards) provides high-strength protection for your vehicle's sensitive main transmission housing. Since the transmission is located relatively centrally under the vehicle, it is particularly vulnerable when crossing humps, hitting rocks hard (rock crawling), tree stumps, or sliding over deep ruts in the mud. A mechanical impact in off-road conditions can quickly lead to cracks in the housing, fatal transmission oil loss, and extremely expensive damage that will immediately end your off-road tour or trip.

This vehicle-specific underride guard perfectly closes this critical safety gap on the underbody. Thanks to its well-thought-out design, this skid plate can be installed completely independently and separately, without the mandatory installation of other plates from the underbody system (such as the front engine or rear transfer case protection).
