The MorE 4x4 Aluminum Combined Skid Plate for the Suzuki Grand Vitara 2 (Generation 2, Pre-Facelift) offers high-strength, extensive protection for the most vulnerable mechanical components on the underside of the vehicle's front. This skid plate simultaneously covers three essential components: the engine (incl. oil pan), the front axle differential, and the susceptible steering linkage with tie rods.

The Grand Vitara 2 holds a special position in the off-road segment: thanks to its rigid monocoque chassis structure with integrated ladder frame and permanent all-wheel drive, it is surprisingly capable off-road. However, those who drive the vehicle off paved roads, for hunting, in forestry, or on overland tours, quickly reach the limits with the original, thin plastic covers. Since the vehicle has independent front suspension, the front differential housing and the sensitive steering components are inherently unprotected in the potential impact area. An careless bump on sharp rocks, hidden tree stumps, or a hard impact in deep ruts can irreparably bend the tie rods or tear open the engine oil pan – leading to immediate oil loss and catastrophic engine damage.

This vehicle-specific 3-in-1 underride protection perfectly closes this critical safety gap on the underbody of your all-wheel drive vehicle. Thanks to its well-thought-out design, this skid plate can be installed completely independently and separately, without necessarily having to install the rest of the underbody system plates.

⚠️ Important Compatibility Note: This skid plate is specifically designed for use in combination with the MorE 4x4 Steel Bumper (model OM-Z024) on pre-facelift vehicles from model years 2005 to 2008. It seamlessly connects to this winch bumper and forms a closed, aerodynamic ramp at the front of the vehicle. It fits all engine variants (such as the 1.9 DDiS diesel or the 2.0L / 2.7L V6 petrol engines).
