The MorE 4x4 aluminum transfer case skid plate for the Suzuki Jimny (suitable for the GJ and HJ series from model year 2018) secures the mechanical heart of the legendary mini off-roader. Thanks to its classic ladder frame and switchable all-wheel drive with reduction gear, the Jimny has outstanding off-road capabilities. However, a serious weakness from the factory is the transfer case: It sits relatively unprotected and deep right in the middle of the short wheelbase.

When driving over crests, overcoming thick tree trunks in the forest, or bottoming out on rocky terrain, the transfer case housing is extremely vulnerable. A hard impact at this point can shatter the housing, lead to acute oil loss, and, in the worst case, destroy the entire drivetrain.

This vehicle-specific underbody protection perfectly closes this critical safety gap on the underside of your Jimny and ensures that the vehicle glides smoothly over obstacles in an emergency, instead of getting stuck on the transmission.
