Prepare the main axle-location and anti-roll-bar mounting points on your Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ/WG for demanding off-road use, high payloads and sustained heavy loads. Soft or worn original rubber can allow additional axle movement and play at several suspension positions.
This blue 85 Shore A XXL heavy-duty polyurethane kit also includes the rear upper triangular control-arm bushes for a more comprehensive suspension overhaul.

More stable axle location under high loads
The firmer PU deforms less than aged rubber under braking, drive and lateral forces. This can help the control arms locate the axles more precisely while the Panhard rod limits lateral movement.
The firmer connection can also transmit more impacts, noise and fine vibration to the chassis and body. Worn joints, bolts, mounts, wheel bearings or steering components must be repaired separately.

Important note on the original outer sleeves
The original outer metal sleeves remain in the front control arms and rear lower control arms. Remove only the old rubber without damaging these sleeves; the new PU bushes are installed into the retained original sleeves.
Installation note
Inspect all arms, sleeves, bolts and mounting points for corrosion, scoring or deformation. Work on axle-location components should be carried out professionally.
