Prepare the key suspension mounting points on your classic Land Rover or Range Rover for demanding off-road use, high payloads and sustained heavy loads. Soft or worn original rubber can allow additional axle movement and play at the anti-roll bars and damper mounts.
This blue 85 Shore A heavy-duty polyurethane kit covers the listed axle-control, front Panhard-rod, anti-roll-bar and shock-absorber positions.
The firmer PU deforms less than aged rubber under braking, drive and lateral forces. This can help the axle-control arms guide the solid axles more consistently while the Panhard rod limits lateral movement of the front axle.
The firmer connection can also transmit more impacts, noise and vibration. Worn joints, bolts, mounts, wheel bearings or steering components must be repaired separately.
Inspect all axle-control arms, the Panhard rod, anti-roll bars, shock-absorber eyes, bolts and mounts for corrosion, wear or deformation. Suspension work should be carried out professionally.
These versions have different hardness levels and recommended uses.
