Renew the key suspension mounting points on your Land Rover Defender, Discovery 1 or Range Rover Classic and restore a more controlled connection between the axles, chassis and dampers. Soft or worn original rubber can allow additional movement under braking, cornering and changing loads.

This orange 75 Shore A polyurethane kit covers the listed front control-arm, Panhard-rod, anti-roll-bar and shock-absorber positions. It is designed for road use, overland travel and mixed off-road driving.

More stable suspension mounting

Polyurethane deforms less than soft or worn rubber under load and can help the front axle, control arms and dampers respond more consistently. The final result also depends on the condition of joints, wheel bearings, steering, dampers and mounting points.

• Front control arms, first mounting group: 8 PU bushes and 4 metal sleeves
• Front control arms, second mounting group: 6 PU bushes and 6 metal sleeves
• Front Panhard rod: 2 PU bushes and 2 metal sleeves
• Front anti-roll bar: 2 PU bushes
• Rear anti-roll bar: 2 PU bushes
• Shock-absorber mounts: 12 PU bushes

Installation note

Assign the different bushes clearly to their positions before removal. Inspect all control arms, the Panhard rod, shock-absorber eyes, bolts and mounts for corrosion, cracks or deformation. Suspension work should be carried out professionally and all fasteners rechecked afterwards.
