Prepare the front- and rear-suspension mounting points on your Opel Frontera B for regular off-road use, high payloads and sustained heavy loads. Soft or worn rubber can allow additional wheel and axle movement at the control arms, rear links and Panhard rod.
This blue 85 Shore A heavy-duty polyurethane kit covers the listed front and rear positions.
The firmer PU limits deformation at the control arms, rear axle links and Panhard rod more strongly than aged rubber. This can retain wheel and axle position more consistently under braking, drive and lateral forces.
The trade-off can be increased transfer of impacts, noise and vibration to the chassis and body. Worn joints, wheel bearings, steering parts or dampers must be repaired separately.
Remove the old bushes completely, clean all contact surfaces and inspect the arms and mounts for wear or deformation. Suspension and axle-location work should be carried out professionally.
These versions have different hardness levels and recommended uses.
