A Suzuki Grand Vitara FT/GT used regularly off road or with high payloads places greater loads on its control-arm, rear-axle and anti-roll-bar bushes. Soft or worn rubber can allow additional wheel and axle movement under these conditions.

This blue 85 Shore A heavy-duty off-road polyurethane kit renews the main front- and rear-suspension mounting points. It deflects less under load than the orange standard version and is focused on more defined wheel and axle location.

Firmer mounting for high loads

The firmer PU deforms less than aged rubber under braking, lateral and drive forces. This can help the front control arms, rear trailing arms and Panhard rod perform their guiding function more consistently under load.

The result can be more defined suspension response on rough roads and with higher payloads. The firmer mounting can also transmit more impacts and vibration to the body.

Installation note

Remove the old bushes completely and clean the mounting points thoroughly. Use the supplied assembly grease on the specified contact surfaces. Suspension and axle-location work should be carried out professionally, and all fasteners should be rechecked after installation.
