Firmer leaf-spring location under load
The firmer PU deforms less than aged rubber and can guide the rear axle more consistently under payload, braking and uneven-road forces. The trade-off can be increased transfer of impacts and vibration to the chassis and body.

Installation note
Inspect spring bolts, shackles and mounts for corrosion, scoring or deformation. Replace worn metal parts separately and clean all contact surfaces before fitting.
