Renew the main axle-location bushes on your Toyota Land Cruiser 70 Series for demanding off-road use, high payloads and sustained heavy loads. Soft or worn original rubber can allow unwanted fore-and-aft and lateral movement of the solid axles.

This blue 85 Shore A heavy-duty polyurethane kit covers the listed front and rear control-arm and Panhard-rod mounting points. Two widths are available for the frame-side control-arm mounts.

Measure before ordering

Measure the width of the existing frame-side bushes or control-arm mounts at both axles. Your selected option determines whether the kit includes the 35 or 40 mm mounting positions.

More stable axle location under high loads

The firmer PU deforms less than aged rubber under braking, drive and lateral forces. This can help the control arms guide the axles more precisely in the longitudinal direction while the Panhard rods limit lateral movement.

The firmer connection can also transmit more impacts, noise and vibration to the chassis and body.

• Front control arms, axle side: 4 regular PU bushes and 4 metal sleeves
• Front control arms, chassis side: 2 PU bushes and 2 metal sleeves in the selected width
• Rear control arms, axle side: 4 PU bushes and 4 metal sleeves
• Rear control arms, chassis side: 2 PU bushes and 2 metal sleeves in the selected width
• Front Panhard rod: 2 PU bushes and 2 metal sleeves
• Rear Panhard rod: 2 PU bushes and 2 metal sleeves

Installation note

Inspect all control arms, Panhard rods, bolts and mounting points for corrosion, elongated holes or deformation. Check axle position and suspension geometry professionally after installation.
