On the Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ/ZG, the control-arm bushings and front Panhard rod play a major role in keeping the front and rear solid axles accurately located under load. Soft or worn rubber bushings can allow additional axle movement and make the vehicle feel less precise.

This orange polyurethane kit renews the listed mounting points on both solid axles. The control-arm bushings are rated at 75 Shore A, while the front Panhard-rod bushings use a firmer 90 Shore A compound.

Installation note

At the designated control-arm positions, remove only the old rubber; the original outer metal shell remains in the arm. Mark the installation positions before disassembly and inspect all control arms, bolts and mounting points for wear or deformation.
