Poly Bushings: Precise Suspension Mounting for Better Control

Most factory suspension bushings are made from rubber. Over time, rubber can age, become brittle from weather, road salt, and UV exposure, and wear under heavy loads. The result can be vague steering, uneven tire wear, and less precise handling – especially on lifted off-road vehicles or heavily loaded expedition builds. Our premium poly bushings provide a durable alternative.

Why Upgrade to Polyurethane (PU)?

Poly bushings offer several mechanical advantages over standard rubber bushings:

  • More precise axle location and tracking: PU bushings deform less under high loads, helping the vehicle steer more directly and maintain its line.
  • High resistance to environmental exposure: Polyurethane resists oils, grease, road salt, mud, and ozone better than conventional rubber.
  • Suitable for lift kits and heavy loads: Lift kits, heavy bumpers, roof racks, and camper bodies place additional strain on suspension bushings. PU bushings are designed to handle these increased loads.

Vehicle-Specific PU Bushing Kits

Our range includes vehicle-specific bushing kits for control arms, leaf springs, trailing arms, Panhard rods, and anti-roll bars:

  • Toyota Hilux, especially generations 5, 6, and 7 / Vigo: Replace worn factory rubber bushings and restore more precise suspension control.
  • Land Rover Discovery & Defender: Improve suspension stability during demanding off-road articulation.
  • Jeep Wrangler & Grand Cherokee: Add durability for repeated impacts on rocky trails.

Performance Without Unnecessary Harshness

Our poly bushings are available in application-specific Shore hardness levels. They are firm enough to support suspension geometry while retaining enough compliance to avoid passing every small vibration directly into the vehicle body.
